My name is Georgina and I’m the owner of Southern Blossom. Here’s how this all began. I’m a beautician by trade and I love making my clients feel great about themselves. So when lockdown began I found myself thinking if it was possible to make people feel more relaxed and comforted during these strange times.
Therefore, I began to look into making candles and wax melts. The reason being I feel that watching the flicker on a candle can bring comfort and ease to someone. I also think that smells can trigger memories and put us in a good mood, which is where the melts come in.
The more research I looked into the more interested I became. So I went and ordered a few bits to give it a go. I wasn’t expecting it to be easy and it’s far from it! Not only do you need to know your maths you need to be artistic and keep lots of notes! Plus, you also need to have a lot of patience.
I decided to go with the wax melts first as I perfected them pretty quickly. I love playing with colours and glitter. I’m getting there with the candles and I hope to launch them very soon. I’m so excited to turn this into Southern Blossom and watch it grow 😊

How much does shipping cost?

We currently ship to Ireland,United Kingdom,United States,Germany,France,Italy and Spain. If your Country is not listed and you are interested in purchasing please get in touch and we can check the cost of shipping for you.
How long do the wax melts last for?
Each cube or piece should give you up to 16 hours of fragrance. This also depends on the size and type of your wax burner. Generally once the scent becomes faint it can be time to change the wax.
Can I request a fragrance ?
If you have a favourite scent and you don’t see it listed please feel free to send us an email and we can see if we can source that fragrance for you.
What’s the difference between the cubes,bars and pots ?
They all contain wax melts they are just made into different shapes and placed in different containers. The cubes are the largest in the collection. The pots are the smallest and the bars weigh a little more than the pots.It’s really just personal preference.
